Interview with Stan Williams who served as the assistant director of the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission, a flood management advisor to the Tulsa City Commission, and then manager of flood mitigation for FEMA. He was the city's first director of the Department of Stormwater Management. Williams discusses his career path, flood mitigation, city planning, political impact on flood mitigation, and flooding along Mingo Creek and other areas of Tulsa in the 1970s and 1980s.
